Amélie Art creates handmade, made-to-order, and customizable candles. Because everything is crafted by hand, each piece is unique — slight variations in color, texture, or scent strength are completely normal and part of the charm of handmade goods.

All content on the site (photos, product descriptions, designs, logos, etc.) belongs to Amélie Art and may not be copied without permission.

When you place an order, you agree that:

  • All products are made-to-order, which means production times may vary

  • Custom orders cannot typically be changed once production has started

  • In rare cases, we may need to refuse, cancel, or limit an order (for example, due to material shortages or incorrect information)

If we must cancel an order after you’ve paid, we will issue a full refund.

All prices on our website are listed in US currency and may change without notice.

We accept payments through secure third-party providers.
Amélie Art does not store full credit card information.

You agree to:

  • Provide valid payment information

  • Ensure the payment method has sufficient funds

  • Cover any applicable taxes, duties, or fees

5. Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom candles are created uniquely for each customer.
Because of this:

  • All personalized products are final sale

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom items unless there is a clear defect or error on our part

We work closely with customers to ensure designs and scent selections are correct, but final creative results may vary slightly from photos or digital mockups.

6. Shipping

By purchasing from Amélie Art, you acknowledge and accept our Shipping Policy and its associated legal disclaimer.

Key points:

  • Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees

  • Once a package is handed to the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier

  • We cannot replace or refund orders marked as delivered

  • International customers are responsible for customs fees, taxes, or delays

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We want you to love your candle, but because items are handmade and made to order, our policies are as follows:

We accept returns or refunds only if:

  • Your candle arrives damaged

  • We made an error in customization

  • A product is defective

To request a return or replacement, contact us within 14 days with photos of the product and packaging.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom orders (unless defective)

  • Scent preferences or color variations

  • Normal variations of handmade items

  • Burning candles comes with inherent risks; customers must follow safety instructions provided on product labels or our website

  • We are not liable for shipping delays or issues caused by third-party carriers

  • We are not responsible for allergies, sensitivities, or reactions to fragrances or materials
