At Amélie Art, we take great care in creating and packaging your handmade, made-to-order candles. Because each item is crafted specially for you, shipping times may vary. The information below explains what we can and cannot guarantee when it comes to delivery.

General Disclaimer

Amélie Art is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or delivery issues caused by circumstances outside our control. Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, the carrier becomes responsible for the handling, transportation, and delivery of your package.

This includes delays or issues caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Carrier errors or backlogs

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer

  • Customs processing times (for international orders)

  • Natural disasters or unexpected events

Production & Processing Times

Because our candles are made-to-order and often customized:

  • Production times listed on the website are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Your order may occasionally require additional time based on complexity, order volume, and availability of materials.

We will always communicate with you if we expect a significant delay.

Tracking & Delivery

Once your package leaves our studio:

  • You will receive a tracking number (when available).

  • Tracking updates are managed solely by the carrier.

  • Amélie Art cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of tracking information.

If a package shows as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend checking with your local post office, neighbors, or building management. Unfortunately, we cannot replace or refund orders marked as delivered by the carrier.

International Shipping

For international shipments:

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or additional fees.

  • Customs processing times can vary widely and may extend delivery timelines.

Amélie Art has no control over these procedures.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Please contact us within 14 days with photos of the item and packaging.

  • We will review each case individually to determine replacement or refund options.

Carrier damage is not guaranteed to be eligible for reimbursement, but we’ll always do our best to help.
